Lady Lazarus is a Sydney-born, Berlin-based punk band combining brash energy, sharp political messaging, and a DIY ethos that refuses to compromise. Established by Caroline on vocals, Izzy on bass, and Jules on drums, Lady Lazarus channels the raw spirit of punk legends that came before them, described by critics as “a reawakening of our punk ancestors” Happy Mag , 2024.  

Known for their unapologetic activism and brash performances, Lady Lazarus doesn’t just play music: they contribute to spearheading the values of the anarcho-punk scene. Their art is a rallying cry for marginalized voices. Their inclusive approach to music has seen them champion diverse lineups and organize impactful events in collaboration with international NGOs to showcase non-male voices in the scene.   

Known for their DIY ethos, handmade zines, theatrical performances and anti-establishment rhetoric, the band has moved from Sydney to Berlin to solidify their mark on the history and culture of punk as a tool of resistance. No label, no team, just the insatiable desire to change the world and the youthful exuberance (or stupidity) to do it. Old school.
